Sell your product or service to young, international Berliners over their favourite newsletter.

📈 International Berlin keeps growing and growing.

When veteran journalists Andrew Bulkeley and Maurice Frank launched the 20% Berlin English-language newsletter in 2021, 20% of the population had a non-German passport — hence the name.

In 2025, international Berliners make up around 23% of residents.

Andrew and Maurice created 20% Berlin to help internationals better understand the city.

The newsletter is sent out every Tuesday and Friday. It includes personal observations, a witty summary of local news, culture & entertainment tips and a Berlin factoid.

Since December 2024 they have produced an entertaining 40-minute podcast every two weeks.

It’s free to subscribe to 20% Berlin but more than 350 fans voluntarily support 20% on Patreon or Substack.
