Focus just had an article and they said that the average tenant can expect a 40% jump in heating costs, as many flats hearing is included those tenants will get a huge shock when the NK is settled. I checked the bills for my rental unit and heating costs have double in the last couple of years. I asked the tenant to increase the NK but even with an extra 30 a month He'll probably owe!
Oh and add in food inflation and the working poor are going to be in for some serious pain
