I really hope the wind turbines won’t be installed near residential buildings, as that could lead to serious issues. There’s already a case in Brazil where nearby residents are suffering. Many have reported needing medication to sleep, experiencing depression, and dealing with constant stress due to the 24/7 noise from the turbines. Yes, they make noise. A LOT!

Thanks, Pedro. The map suggests they will be located in open areas like Teufelsberg, which is quite far from any housing. Because Germany already has so many turbines, people here are highly sensitised to the issue. Hopefully politicians wouldn't risk creating unnecessary noise pollution - that would just be a gift to the AfD, which has profited greatly from NIMBY opposition to wind power.
