I totally remember the open letter that the Stone Brewery guy wrote before closing his operation down, complaining about German taste...or lack of it. What a maroon! Germans are not going to pay double for your swill, dude! Read the flippin' room! It's like Katsch in Torstraße. I went there a few times back when I lived in Mitte because some friends worked there; but the beer was just ridiculously expensive. I haven't been back in ages.
