Volunteer
Telegram groups organizing volunteers at Hauptbahnhof here and here.
Frauentreff HellMa offers information and support for Ukrainian refugees at Marzahner Promenade 41. According to Berlin.de, they need translators, psychologists and trauma therapy specialists.
Albatros gGmbh is looking for people to help build refugee homes. They could also use help with psychological care and career coaching (Berlin.de).
Krisenchat (crisis chat) offers digital, psychological care for children, youth and adults via real-time chat. They’re urgently looking for psychologists who speak Ukrainian and Russian for psychological first aid (Berlin.de).
A place to stay
Unterkunft Ukraine has a directory for people looking for both a place to stay and those with a spare room (or more, from Berlin.de).
If you need a place (or know someone who needs a place), Every Bed Helps is a group of serviced apartment providers offering vacancies Germany-wide to refugees.
Goods donations
Spendenbrücke Ukraine, Hangar 1 at Tempelhof, needs moving boxes. It says the only goods it’s otherwise accepting at the moment are medical products, pet food and tools (from Tagesspiegel) .
Barkett bar in Schöneberg is collecting donations from 2pm to 10pm Tues.-Sun. and then transporting them to the Ukrainian border. Check their Facebook for needed items.
Ukraine Hilfe Berlin lists these three sites for dropping off goods. There’s an updated German-language list of what’s needed here.
