While I'm no fan of big tech companies, the lack of accurate street view information drove me absolutely batty when I first moved to Berlin. Once, I struggled to find a doctor's office because the building was blurred on Google Street View, only to pull up the clinic's website and find a giant photo of the front of the building on the home page! There's something equal parts paranoid and egotistical about believing that blurring a public photo of the OUTSIDE of your building will protect you from anything.

Berlin drivers are unhinged right now, they're like wasps at the end of summer. I hate them sooo much 😫

I decided to cycle up the Schönhauser Allee on the cars side the two times a day I must go up that road. And when I get to 50 honks I will by a bottled truck horn myself to use it when I meet those same honking cars at the first traffic light.

It's so ridiculous in Berlin that cars have so much room and bikes have to weave in and out of bus stops, construction sites and garage entrances.... I feel you.

I bike through the scramble intersection frequently and can confirm it doesn't confuse or harm anyone. Indeed, the real scramble intersection is checkpoint charlie just north with no lights at all, I assumed this one was so reasonable to make up for that one. BTW, I first encountered this at every junction of Edinburgh's Royal Mile, though there it's illegal to go diagonal, you are suppose to wait another light cycle, but NOT cross when cars are moving whatever you do, so the schnell do run across the diagonal.
